It's time to come together and say NO to ICE's plans for a new detention center in the Town of Newburgh.
ICE has been terrorizing our neighbors, families and friends since its creation in 2003. Over 20 people have died this year alone from the violence of ICE and CBP.
Now ICE is reported to be leasing a 32,000 square foot warehouse near Stewart Airport to kidnap and detain our neighbors.
Join us on Monday July 13 at 5:30pm to say ICE OUT of Newburgh! We will rally in front of the Town of Newburgh Town Hall at 1496 NY-300, Newburgh, NY 12550. Then residents of the Town will make public comment at the Town Board meeting starting at 7pm.
We kept ICE out of Chester, we can keep them out of the Town of Newburgh too, if we act together!
If you are a Town of Newburgh resident, we encourage you to make a public comment to the Town Board at 7pm! RSVP here and check off the box to receive talking points and other updates related to making a public comment.
